Contrast therapy involves alternating between heat and cold exposure. At Equilibrium you move between our Finnish sauna and the cold plunge or cold shower at a pace that feels comfortable, and there is no requirement to use both.
Sauna & Ice sessions are 50 minutes, including changing time.
Communal sessions are limited to a maximum of 4 guests. Themed group sessions, such as Menopause and Age Well, take up to 6.
Communal sessions start from £18. Private sessions are £45 for up to 2 guests (Duo), £55 on weekdays and £72 at weekends for up to 6 guests, priced for exclusive use rather than per person.
Swimwear, two towels, sliders or flip-flops, a non-glass water bottle and dry clothes for afterwards.
Yes. You can start with the cold shower or a very brief plunge and build confidence gradually. There is no target time and our team explains everything before you begin.
The minimum age for Sauna & Ice is 16. Guests aged 16 or 17 must attend with a responsible adult on a 1:1 basis.
